Terms of Use

Last updated: September 30, 2026

These terms apply when you use ShotPass, a tool for designing App Store and Google Play screenshots and preview videos, provided by Mano Studio (operated by Long Chen) (“we”, “us”). By using ShotPass or buying a pass, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use ShotPass.

What you get

You can use the editor for free. Free exports include a small “Made with ShotPass” watermark, and AI translation isn’t included.

A pass removes the watermark and includes AI translation for a fixed period: $9 for 7 days or $15 for 30 days, starting when you buy it. A 7-day pass can be extended to 30 days for $6. Passes are one-time purchases. They are not subscriptions and never renew automatically.

AI translation has a fair-use allowance per pass, shown at purchase and in the app. We may adjust features and limits for new purchases, but not reduce what a pass you’ve already bought includes.

Buying a pass

Payments are handled by Stripe. Passes are “sold through Link”, Stripe’s checkout service, which acts as the merchant of record: it charges you, handles taxes and receipts, and can help with payment questions. Link’s terms also apply to your purchase.

Your pass is tied to a license key, shown right after checkout and saved in the browser you bought it in. Each key works in up to 3 browsers. Please keep your key to yourself: sharing or reselling it isn’t allowed, and we may disable keys that are clearly being shared.

Your content

Everything you create or upload (screenshots, recordings, text, logos and fonts) remains yours. ShotPass works in your browser, and we don’t receive your screenshots, recordings or projects (see the Privacy Policy).

You’re responsible for having the rights to what you upload and publish, including fonts, images and trademarks. You may use everything you export, including our templates and device illustrations, in your app store listings, website and other marketing, including commercially.

App stores and AI translation

We follow Apple’s and Google’s published size and format requirements, but you are responsible for making sure your listing complies with their rules. For example, Apple requires app previews to show only footage from your app. We can’t guarantee that a store will accept your screenshots or videos.

AI translations are produced by a machine and may contain mistakes. Please review them before publishing.

App Store and Apple are trademarks of Apple Inc. Google Play is a trademark of Google LLC. ShotPass is not affiliated with or endorsed by either company, and our device frames are illustrations.

Acceptable use

Please don’t: try to bypass the watermark, license checks or translation limits; overload or attack the service; use ShotPass to create content that is illegal or infringes others’ rights; or resell access to ShotPass itself.

Your projects are stored on your device

Projects are saved in your browser’s storage, not on our servers. Clearing your browser data, using a private window, or switching devices can remove them, and we can’t recover them. Keep copies of anything important, such as your exported files.

Availability and liability

We work to keep ShotPass running and accurate, but it is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost revenue or a delayed release), and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can’t be excluded.

Changes and ending

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and continued use means you accept the changes. We may suspend access for serious breaches of these terms. You can stop using ShotPass at any time.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Denmark. Questions? Contact us at [email protected].
